Birgitta's Matbod is a small-scale family business located on Öland. All products are made according to Birgitta Tunhov's recipe, which continues to be managed. As far as possible, the products' raw materials are sourced from Öland. Birgitta's Matbod has won several awards, e.g. Bronze in SM in Food Crafts and the Golden Pumpkin.
Yngdén's Crackers & Biscotti
From the island of the sun and winds in the Baltic Sea - Öland - comes a crispy, tasty crispbread. From the bakery in Borgholm, we get both these crunchy treats for crackers and the good Öland biscotti that really bring the flavors to Italy. Öland feels even more like a foreign country but at home, with a yummy Biscotti with an Espresso. (Surprisingly good even with a glass of Amarone)

Lasses Bisyssla
The honey comes from busy bees that buzz around Norra Öland and collect nectar from Öland's beautiful flora. The honey is a pure natural product. Nothing has been added or removed. The honey's character and different taste is solely from the flowers the bees collected nectar from. The honey is not heated, thus preserving the healthy effects of honey. The bee colonies are carefully cared for and the honey is disposed of in Löttorp.

Swedish Beeswax candles are a collaboration between beekeepers for bees, nature and you. All our products are manufactured on Öland with 100% Swedish beeswax from our bee colonies. The beeswax that is left over when we throw honey is used and becomes a new climate-smart product.
All our products are manufactured with sustainability, zero waste and the climate in mind. It should be good for you and sustainable for the planet. Since bees compensate for the climate, we don't want to be worse off, which is why we have removed all unnecessary packaging from our products and reuse packaging materials as far as possible. From the apiary to your home with as little climate impact as possible.
